CTV is running a story today about Lucas Baiano, a 19-year-old Toronto-based film student who produced a campaign trailer for the Clinton campaign following a brief encounter with Bill.
You'll notice when you view the article online that the last sentence is: The video can be viewed on YouTube by searching "Hillary Clinton trailer."
Am I being too harsh, or is this simply ridiculous in this day and age? With one tiny piece of code, they could have linked to the video. Hell, they could even do what I've done and embed the video in the story! Instead, they're forcing readers to leave their site, open YouTube, and type in their recommended search term.
This doesn't benefit CTV. It doesn't benefit their users. More evidence that mainstream media just doesn't get it?
